HIGHLIGHTS
Our journey begins in Cape Town when we set off for an enchanting experience at !Khwa ttu Nature Reserve, where the rich culture and traditions of the San people await. Enjoy a captivating adventure immersed in heritage, as well as fauna and flora, gaining fresh insight into an ancient way of life.
Next, we venture to the stunning West Coast National Park, a treasure trove of scenic vistas and wildlife. This picturesque landscape creates a serene backdrop for exploration and appreciation of nature’s beauty.
As our day delightfully unfolds, we pause to soak in the sights and sounds of the park, capturing memories that will last a lifetime. The West Coast National Park is also home to the replica of "Eve's Footprint". Discovered in 1995 at Kraalbaai, these prints are unmistakable human footfalls fossilised in rock (formerly sea sand) and are said to have belonged to a young woman who lived 117 000 years ago. This makes them the oldest known footprints of an anatomically modern human.
After a delightful meal at a local padstal, we return to Cape Town filled with the warmth of new experiences and the charm of the region.
